1. Undertaking of Jobs
1.1 - Jobs undertaken by Handy Holbrook on the customer’s property may be photographed (using a phone, DSLR or drone) and uploaded to the Facebook page, website or google business page for advertising purposes. However, no private information will be photographed and released to the public e.g. house number/ house location.
1.2 - Exterior decorating will need to be undertaken on a day with suitable weather conditions, therefore original appointment dates may change due to weather.
1.3 - Some jobs that are listed on this website may not be able to be undertaken on the customer’s property due to varying circumstances e.g. a lawn-mower not being able to be lifted up steps to get to customer's lawn.
1.4 - If an extra job has been requested after a quote has been given/sent, the quote will need to be re-priced with the extra job and added on.
1.5 - Customer's who have Handy Holbrook visit regularly on an agreed and scheduled day may have their appointments moved by a day or two for various reasons e.g. one 15 minute lawn mowing appointment 15 miles away on a day with no other jobs.
2. Booking Handy Holbrook's Services
2.1 - Dates booked for outside jobs may change due to weather.
2.2 - Appointment's may be rescheduled to a date that both Handy Holbrook and the customer agree's on.
3. Quotes & Invoices
3.1- Quotes will be sent to the customer's email unless another method of communication is requested.
3.2 - A formal and itemised quote may not be given unless requested by customer.
3.3 -Invoices may only be sent if requested by the customer.
4. Reviewing Handy Holbrook
4.1 - Reviews posted on Handy Holbrook's google section may be used on this website.
4.2 - Reviews posted on Handy Holbrook's Facebook page may be used on this website.
4.3 - Reviews about Handy Holbrook elsewhere may be used on this website.
4.4 - Not all reviews are guaranteed to be used on this website.
4.5 - Negative reviews will not be advertised on the website.
4.6 - If a customer has deleted their review after it has been uploaded to the website, they might find that it has not been removed by Handy Holbrook. If they wish for it to be removed, they need to contact Handy Holbrook and their request shall be for-filled immediately.
5. Facebook
5.1- Facebook appointments may state the wrong time of arrival and departure of visit. Please refer to the time that has been agreed prior to this appointment.
5.2 - Any inappropriate behaviour on the page will be removed and may result in the user being banned.
6. Corporate Clients
6.1 - Corporate/ commercial client's that Handy Holbrook has done work for may find their business is on the 'Corporate Client's' section on the website.
6.2 - Handy Holbrook uses the clients logo on this website without requesting permission
6.3 - If a business requests for their brand/ company to be removed from the website, once Handy Holbrook is informed it will be removed immediately.
7. Mailing List
7.1 - All mailing list messages are generic so not all emails will be specific to you or what is important to you.
7.2 - If the customer has issues with unsubscribing, they should contact Handy Holbrook directly to sort it out.
7.3 - Emails are sent whenever a message needs to be delivered to the customer- there is no schedule or promise that customers will receive emails on a regular basis or a specific timetable.
7.4 - Some emails will not be seen as useful to all customer’s. Like mentioned in 7.1, the mailing list is non-specific so not every email is going to be 100% beneficial.
7.5 - It is not guaranteed that all customer’s will find the mailing list useful. It is recommended that the customer un-subscribes if this is the case.
8. Appointment Cancellation's
8.1 - In the event that a client cancels a job after materials have already been purchased by Handy Holbrook, they may be required to pay for them.
8.2 - If a customer cancel's their appointment they are not entitled to receive a new date which has been created by moving other customers around. However, Handy Holbrook will always do his best to make space for the job earlier if at all possible.
9. Christmas Discount
9.1 - The discount may only be used once per customer.
9.2 - The discount expires on 31/12/22 and may not be redeemed after this period.
9.3 - Should a customer forget about the discount and wish to use it after the expiry date, they must speak directly to Handy Holbrook. However, it cannot be guaranteed that the discount will be accepted.
9.4 - The discount cannot be shared to another person and it is only redeemable by the recipient of the offer (the person who received it from the mailing list Christmas email)
9.5 - The offer might not be accepted until Handy Holbrook is provided proof of the voucher via the 'redeem page'- the link to the 'redeem page' is found within the email sent on 25/12/21.
9.6 - No customers who sign up to the mailing list after the email was sent on 25/12/21 is entitled to the offer.
